Andrea Sharma joined LMC in 2017 as a Marketing Specialist. Andrea leads the marketing team and key stakeholders to develop, implement and execute strategic marketing projects across a multi-disciplinary team. Andrea has over 10 years of experience in marketing and has an Advanced Diploma in Marketing from Sheridan College of Technology and Advanced Learning.

Ayesha Alam joined LMC in 2016 as a Project Manager and has grown and evolved her skillset into our Director of Operational Excellence and IT. Ayesha leads a comprehensive portfolio of administrative and IT functions to advance operational excellence, integrated care, and company’s growth. Ayesha has over 15 years of experience in senior management and process improvement roles. Ayesha has a Masters in Health Administration, PMP & Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Karri Venn brings over 24 years of clinical research experience working at clinical research sites. Karri has brought experience, knowledge and drive to many of the positions held at LMC Healthcare since 1999. Karri has been certified in project management through the Project Management Institute, as well as longstanding certification as a Clinical Research Coordinator and Diabetes Educator. Karri is a founding member and present CEO of hyperCORE International, a leading Super Network of clinical sites which comprises of 100 sites, 5 countries and 10 site networks. Today, she is a founding Board member of the Canadian Association of Independent Clinical Research Sites (CAICR), hyperCORE International, and great supporter of both Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) & Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP).

Leah Topic joined LMC in 2019 as our Human Resources Director. Leah has over 17 years of experience in progressively more senior HR roles. Leah previously served as an in-house Manager of HR Client Consulting for a large national bank. She is focused on partnering with senior executives on HR strategic objectives and solutions including talent.

Nicholas Ng Joined LMC in 2019 as Controller. Nicholas has over 11 years of experience in Finance Services. Nicholas is a Chartered Professional Accountant and has his Bachelor of Commerce & Finance, Specialist from the University of Toronto.

Sean Karamchandani is the Investment Director in the Canadian venture capital arm of Crédit Mutuel Equity, a private equity subsidiary of Crédit Mutuel Alliance Fédérale, one of France’s largest banking organizations. With 10 years of experience in healthcare investment in both venture and growth-equity Sean began his career as a management consultant to large healthcare institutions. He was then a partner with Persistence Capital Partners, a Canadian healthcare focused private-equity fund. Sean has dedicated his career to accelerating healthcare service, device, product, and pharmaceutical companies. Sean holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

Vanessa Carnovale joined LMC in 2021 as the Director of Chiropody and Footcare. Vanessa has 18 years of experience in the footcare field serving in various roles such as the National Director, Medical Education and Clinical Operations as well as the National Director, Operations. In addition to her business role, Vanessa holds several clinical designations including Canadian Certified Pedorthist, Doctor of Chiropractic, and Contemporary Medical Acupuncture Provider. She has also served as a Board Member for the Pedorthic Association of Canada.

Antonietta is a Chiropodist registered with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario. She completed her Honours of Kinesiology degree at York University and then earned her diploma in Massage Therapy from CCMH.Wanting to expand her knowledge she continued to earn her Advanced Graduate Diploma of Podiatric Medicine from The Michener Institute for Applied Health Sciences in Toronto.
