Chiropodist and Foot Care in Oakville

Foot pain often starts with a mechanical issue before it becomes a persistent source of discomfort. At LMC Footcare Oakville, our registered chiropodists begin with a thorough biomechanical assessment, evaluating how you walk and how pressure is distributed across your feet. This helps us identify the underlying cause of your discomfort and develop a treatment plan focused on addressing the problem, not just the symptoms.

We provide foot care for runners, golfers, racquet sport players, and weekend athletes throughout Oakville, Burlington, Milton, and west Mississauga. We also care for families, children with developing feet, and patients managing diabetes. No referral is required to book an appointment.

Why Oakville patients choose LMC Footcare

Assessment before orthotics, always. Plenty of places will sell you an insole after a quick scan. We do a full biomechanical and gait assessment first, because an orthotic prescribed without one is a guess. Sometimes the answer is not an orthotic at all.

Sports injuries treated properly. Heel pain that has been dragging on since spring, Achilles trouble that flares every time you increase mileage, forefoot pain in court players, and turf toe. We treat the injury and address the loading pattern that caused it.

Children’s feet. Growing feet, in-toeing, flat feet and heel pain in active kids, such as Sever’s disease. Children’s orthotics are built with growth allowance and reviewed as they grow.

Plus the LMC standard: registered chiropodists with advanced diplomas, certified pedorthists on the wider team, an assessment summary sent to your family doctor, and Approved Provider Network membership with Ontario hospitals and insurers.

You need a biomechanical assessment to answer that honestly. Some foot pain resolves with a footwear change, strengthening or a short course of treatment, and some is driven by a structural loading pattern that an orthotic corrects. We will tell you which one you have, including when the answer is that you do not need orthotics.
