Chiropodist and Foot Clinic in Scarborough
A yearly foot check is one of the most effective things a person with diabetes can do, and it is one of the most commonly skipped. At LMC Footcare Scarborough, our registered chiropodists carry out full diabetic foot assessments, treat foot, nail and skin conditions, and build custom orthotics for patients across Scarborough and east Toronto. Our job is to catch problems while they are still small. No referral is needed to book.

Why Scarborough patients choose LMC Footcare
Diabetes foot screening done thoroughly. A proper diabetic foot assessment tests protective sensation, checks pulses and circulation, inspects pressure points and footwear, and grades your risk so you know how often to come back. That is what you get here. It is not a nail trim with a diabetes label on it.
Care that connects to the rest of your health. Our chiropodists work within LMC Healthcare, Canada’s largest specialist group for diabetes, and send an assessment summary to your family doctor after every visit. If your foot problem points to something systemic, that connection is already in place.
Easy to reach without a car. Plus the LMC standard: registered chiropodists with advanced diplomas, wound care-trained clinicians on the wider team, and Approved Provider Network membership with Ontario hospitals and insurers.

Scarborough foot clinic FAQs
A chiropodist tests the sensation in your feet, checks your pulses and circulation, inspects your skin, nails and pressure points, reviews your footwear, and grades your risk level. It takes under an hour, it does not hurt, and it tells you how often you need to come back. We send a summary to your family doctor.
Urgent. A diabetic foot wound that has not healed within about two weeks needs to be seen promptly, because wounds that look minor can deteriorate quickly when circulation or sensation is reduced. Call us rather than booking the next available online slot, and we will get you in sooner. If there is redness spreading, warmth, swelling or discharge, seek same day medical care.
Yes. Chiropody is not covered by OHIP for anyone in Ontario, so most patients pay privately or through a workplace plan. Ask about fees when you book so you know the cost before you arrive.
No. You can book an initial assessment directly. Some insurance plans ask for a referral before they reimburse, so check your policy.
